BUTTER: Butter prices are up, at $1.85. This is consistent from the past week, and much higher than a year ago to date.
EGGS: Wholesale prices are cartoned shell eggs are on the decline as Easter business needs are filled and the market looks past the holiday season. Consumer demand for conventional shell eggs continued to decline over the past week just prior to the retail promotional push for the Easter demand period which is now underway across the country.
WHEAT: USDA Acreage and Stocks report on Wednesday was a shocker, with corn and bean for 2021 crop 2 million acres below trade estimates. Wheat acres were slightly above estimates, with spring wheat down 250K acres from last year but above trade guesses.
